Decaffeinated ground coffee
A predominantly Arabica blend that gives coffee aromatic and persistent characteristics, as if it were a real espresso.
Water decaffeinated without chemicals.
Caffeine not exceeding 0,10% (D.M. 20/05/1976).
A decaf coffee must have less than 0.1% caffeine.
The coffee beans are first moistened with water vapor and then put in contact with carbon dioxide (CO2). The temperature and pressure are increased until the carbon dioxide takes on intermediate characteristics between a gas and a liquid (technically, it is said that it goes into a supercritical state). CO2 at high pressure acts as a solvent for caffeine and extracts it from the beans. The method is harmless to health and it is also cost effective.
Available in Capsules, Beans and Ground.
Available in Lavazza E. Point* compatible capsules, Nespresso* compatible and Caffitaly* compatible.
